Dreamweaver is a sophisticated web design program that is simply the best tool available (in my opinion) then anything else out there. If your new to Dreamweaver there is much to learn – CSS tools, Ajax components for building dynamic user interfaces, and integration with other Adobe software. But have we have to start with the basics. Here are 3 really good tutorials to give you a good foundation and get you going on the right path.
Tutorial one – setup and define your site
This is a two part video by Stefan Mischook at Killersites.com and shows you how to setup and define a new website in Dreamweaver. (hint: if you already know how to create your folders that will contain your website on your hard drive skip to part 2 of the tutorial).

Tutorial two – CSS in Dreamweaver
This is a very nice Tutorial by Abraham Chaffin at Creative Cow

After reading this CSS tutorial you should have a basic feeling of how to use CSS in Dreamweaver. In this tutorial we will create a blank document, create CSS styling, insert a a div to the page, insert an image, and then create a quick navigation menu and assign CSS properties to the elements in the page. The program used in this tutorial and screenshots is Adobe Dreamweaver CS3.

Tutorial 3 -Create a Website with Dreamweaver CS3
This final tutorial is a 6 part very in depth and well done tutorial by Christopher Heng at thesitewizard.com that takes you through the entire process of building a Website with Dreamweaver CS3.

By the end of this tutorial, you will have set up a working website with multiple pages, including a main page, a feedback form, an About Us page, and a Site Map. Your pages will contain a sophisticated navigation menu bar, images, multiple columns, a form, links to other pages within your site, links to other sites, text in different font sizes, etc. In other words, you will have a fully functional website.
