hi, i have a similar problem and i have trawled the internet. It won’t let me select Filter > Sketch. And i have tried changing the channel but its already on 8 bit, 16 bit is no better. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can do it in the another way..like make the selection of face then ctrl+shift+c , then make a new layer using ctrl+shift+n, and then ctrl+shift+v…so dat ur cutting area will place above the original face.

I can’t get the mask selection to blend with the rest of the picture. I know it has to be something simple but I can’t figure it out…

how do i add the outer glow? when i go to layer then layer style i am unable to click anything but hide all effects. what do i do?

I am a beginner, I keep getting stuck at the same point.
I open the document.
In the layers palette it says background, I double click on that and it says Layer 0, which I rename ‘background’
then i select the face with the pen tool, save the path and right click ‘make the selection’

I copy and invert…
then make a layer mask and the cut out of the face disappears off the body.
I make a new layer, but when I try and paste nothing happens except 3 little anchor points appear but no face!!
What am I doing wrong???

Sorry, I’m not familiar with CS2,, after you select the brush the window would most likely show up on the right somewhere,,you’ll just have to look around for it.
